Job Description

Position Summary:

AUE Staffing is currently seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Program Services Specialist for a long-term, temporary assignment. This full-time role requires a self-motivated individual with strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The specialist will assist clients by screening for eligibility, providing direct services, and acting as a liaison between service partners and the program team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a human services or administrative background who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Screen and interview applicants for financial assistance and related programs
Assess applicant eligibility based on income, family status, and other criteria
Perform home visits and related investigations to gather supplemental case information
Manage and update client files in compliance with internal procedures
Provide program services directly to clients as needed
Handle incoming phone calls and determine appropriate referral or appointment scheduling
Guide clients on necessary documentation for eligibility interviews
Support assessors by screening walk-in clients and preparing them for intake
Liaise with partners, contractors, and external service providers
Prepare reports, correspondence, and maintain accurate case records
Attend staff meetings and consult supervisors on complex or difficult cases
Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High proficiency in Microsoft Word and general word processing
Strong customer service and communication skills
Bilingual fluent in both Spanish and English
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Experience working in social services, human services, or a similar environment is a plus

Brittany enjoys her role at AUE Staffing because she has the ability to help others be successful. One of Brittany’s successes was in early 2023, where she earned the title of Certified Staffing Specialist through the American Staffing Association. The certification brings additional knowledge and skills to her role as a Staffing Specialist, making her a valuable resource for clients and employees.  

Working in a small business, everyone where’s many hats and that is true for Brittany. She is our workers' compensation liaison between host employers, employees, and the insurance carrier.  â€¯â€¯ 

In her free time, Brittany enjoys the beach, cooking, exercising, and spending quality time with her husband, children, and two dogs.
