Job Requirements

Job Description
As a child care provider, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and interactive environment for children, while ensuring their well-being and engagement in various activities. If you wish to make a positive impact on the children within your community, this may be the job for you!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Safe supervision of assigned group of students both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist in various student activities, such as homework help, attendance, snack time, and indoor/outdoor recreational activities.
- Assist Site supervisor in maintaining positive behavior/child management.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relations with Site supervisor, program staff, and school-based administrators and employees.
- Maintain a clean, organized and sterile environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or Supervisor.

Position qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalence or Florida Special Diploma required.
- One (1) year recent experience working with young children preferred
- Must have a genuine passion for working with children
- Previous experience in child care, education, or related field is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
- Ability to work in a loud and fast paced environment
- Willing to carefully follow policies and procedures
- Able to complete Orientation
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, bend and stand
- MUST be able to pass level 2 background through fingerprinting as well as a drug screen.

Schedule
- Monday Friday, when children are in session
- Morning and afternoon shifts available! AM Shifts are from 6: 45am-8: 15am and PM shifts are from 2: 45pm-6: 00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 1: 45pm-6: 00pm on Wednesday for early dismissal.
