Are you looking for an exciting, fast-paced opportunity? AUE Staffing is looking to hire Couriers for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year! These opportunities are Monday Friday, daytime hours. Great opportunity for parents, grandparents, college students, or anyone interested in working the same shift as students in school.

This is a driving-based position that will work with the school board staff to ensure all the children are fed on time and in a hygienic setting. This position will be picking up meals from schools without a kitchen and delivering to other locations throughout Seminole County.

Job Requirements

Examples of Essential Functions:
Deliver and pick up all courier meals or packages within the school District.
Deliver, retrieve, and return District materials on loan from the District Media Center.
Deliver printed materials to the schools and District office satellite centers. Adheres to district policies and procedures and all applicable regulatory standards governing food handling and service in educational institutions.
Ensure all delivery receipts are signed by schools and departments.
Other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Reliable transportation.
MUST have a valid Drivers License that will be checked yearly.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds frequently and throughout the entire shift.
Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
Ability to work in loud environments.
MUST be able to pass a Level 2 background check through fingerprinting as well as a drug screen.
Courier experience is a PLUS

Schedule:
Monday Friday unless schools are closed for holidays.
NO WEEKENDS! NO EVENINGS!

Working in a small business, everyone where’s many hats and that is true for Brittany. She is our workers' compensation liaison between host employers, employees, and the insurance carrier.  

In her free time, Brittany enjoys the beach, cooking, exercising, and spending quality time with her husband, children, and two dogs.
