Job Description

Job Posting: Part-Time Handyman
Location: Winter Park, FL
Employer: AUE Staffing, Inc.
Pay Rate: $22 $23 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Up to 32 hours per week
Pay Frequency: Weekly (one week behind)

Position Summary

AUE Staffing, Inc. Is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to assist with general maintenance tasks at the Morse Museum. This part-time role supports the museum s facilities team in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on museum facilities and equipment.
Handle minor electrical tasks (e.G., replacing fixtures, troubleshooting simple wiring issues).
Complete basic plumbing repairs (e.G., fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing faucets).
Assist with general handyman tasks such as painting, patching walls, and assembling furniture.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and report issues requiring specialized service.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Follow safety protocols and museum standards at all times such as wearing a safety harness while using/operating a scissor lift.

Qualifications
Proven experience in general maintenance, electrical, and plumbing work.
Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require bending, standing, and climbing ladders.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Additional Requirements
Must pass a background check and drug screening.

The certification brings additional knowledge and skills to her role as a Staffing Specialist, making her a valuable resource for clients and employees.  

Working in a small business, everyone where’s many hats and that is true for Brittany. She is our workers' compensation liaison between host employers, employees, and the insurance carrier.  â€¯â€¯ 

In her free time, Brittany enjoys the beach, cooking, exercising, and spending quality time with her husband, children, and two dogs.
