ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A REWARDING, EXCITING, FAST-PACED OPPORTUNITY? AUE STAFFING IS LOOKING TO HIRE KIDZONE STAFF FOR THE UPCOMING 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR! THESE OPPORTUNITIES ARE MONDAY FRIDAY, EARLY MORNING AND AFTER SCHOOL HOURS. GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, COLLEGE STUDENTS, OR ANYONE INTERESTED IN WORKING THE SAME SHIFT AS STUDENTS IN SCHOOL.

THIS IS A SCHOOL - BASED POSITION THAT WILL WORK WITH THE SCHOOL BOARD STAFF TO ENSURE ALL THE CHILDREN ARE SUPERVISED BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL IN A SAFE, ENJOYABLE SETTING. THIS POSITION WILL BE GREETING CHILDREN AND PARENTS, ASSISTING WITH HOMEWORK, PROVIDING SNACKS AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

Job Description
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Safe supervision of assigned group of students both indoors and outdoors.
Assist in various student activities, such as homework help, attendance, snack time, and indoor/outdoor recreational activities.
Assist Site supervisor in maintaining positive behavior/child management.
Establish and maintain cooperative relations with Site supervisor, program staff, and school-based administrators and employees.
Maintain a clean, organized and sterile environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Position qualifications include:
High School Diploma or equivalence or Florida Special Diploma required.
One (1) year recent experience working with young children.
One (1) of the following minimum required credentials preferred:
Forty-five (45) hours of DCF Childcare Training. Current Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent OR an Associate s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development OR an Associate s Degree or higher in an unrelated field with at least six (6) credit hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 25 pounds, bend and stand
MUST be able to pass level 2 background through fingerprinting as well as a drug screen.
