Legal Administrative Assistant Join Our Dynamic Team!
Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
Location: County Attorney's Office, Orlando, FL
Schedule: Monday Friday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
Start Immediately Open-Ended Contract

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting attorneys with specialized legal secretarial and clerical work. You'll get hands-on experience with legal documents, case management, and administrative support all while working in a professional and collaborative setting.

What You ll Be Doing:
? Draft and prepare legal memoranda, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other official documents at the direction of attorneys.
? Maintain case dockets, manage trial calendars, schedule hearings, and prepare case files.
? Research and compile data for legal documents and forms.
? Assist attorneys with formatting, editing, and compiling agreements.
? Manage incoming communications screening mail, calls, and meeting requests.
? Maintain attorney calendars, schedule travel, and coordinate virtual meetings.
? Utilize top industry tools like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Webex, Zoom).
? Provide additional support as needed because every day brings something new!

What We re Looking For:
? Education & Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) and six years of legal administrative experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
? Typing Speed: 50 correct words per minute.
? Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills, proficiency in word processing, and experience with cloud-based document management.
? Bonus Points If You Have: Coursework in administrative/clerical practices, transactional experience, or additional legal training.

Brittany Lord joined AUE Staffing in 2011 with two years of previous experience as a Staffing Coordinator. Brittany quickly took on the role of Staffing Specialist with clients in Orange and Volusia County placing staff in light industrial, clerical, food service and janitorial positions. Brittany has built lasting relationships with clients because of her prompt attention to new job order requests and her employees’ needs. Brittany enjoys her role at AUE Staffing because she has the ability to help others be successful. One of Brittany’s successes was in early 2023, where she earned the title of Certified Staffing Specialist through the American Staffing Association. The certification brings additional knowledge and skills to her role as a Staffing Specialist, making her a valuable resource for clients and employees.  

Working in a small business, everyone where’s many hats and that is true for Brittany. She is our workers' compensation liaison between host employers, employees, and the insurance carrier.  â€¯â€¯ 

In her free time, Brittany enjoys the beach, cooking, exercising, and spending quality time with her husband, children, and two dogs.
