Job Opportunity: Parks Maintenance Technician

Job Duties:

The Parks Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of landscape and grounds maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:

Operating maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other related tools.

Mowing, edging, weeding, trimming, and pruning of park grounds.

Blowing leaves and debris to maintain clean park environments.

Cleaning, painting, and removing rubbish/refuse from park facilities and buildings.

Performing general repairs and upkeep of parks and other recreational facilities.

Assisting with invasive plant control as necessary.

Other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

English speaker with good communication skills.

Valid Florida Driver s License.

Dress Code:
Work boots or sneakers.

Pants or shorts (appropriate for work).

Long or short-sleeved shirt without graphics.

Sunscreen and hat for sun protection.

Bring your own lunch for the day.
