Maintenance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required.
1 year of experience in grounds maintenance.
Golf course experience preferred.
May be required to work weekends and holidays.
May be designated as Assigned Personnel and may be required to work during a
declared emergency.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations:
State of Florida driver's license required. Applicants who possess a valid out of state
driver s license must obtain the Florida driver s license within 10 days of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance.
Knowledge of golf course maintenance procedures.
Knowledge of occupational safety rules and regulations.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Ability to operate light truck and mowers.
Ability to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to climb on and off motor-driven machinery.
Ability to make coordinated hand, eye, and foot movements.
Ability to reach out, squat, and turn.
Ability to make repeated downward thrusting motions with force.
Ability to pick-up and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to reach up to 7 feet high lifting 20 lbs.
Ability to see and read letters, numbers, words, characters, or symbols.
Ability to comprehend simple tasks and remember them without assistance.
Ability to use small hand tools which require the use of hands, wrists, and fingers.
Ability to move back and forth and sideways while in a bending, kneeling, or squatting
position.
Ability to stay in a bending, kneeling, or squatting position for periods less than 10
minutes.
Ability to go from a standing or sitting position to a bending, kneeling, or squatting
position, or vice-versa, periodically.
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for periods longer than 30 minutes but not to exceed 8
hours consecutively.
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull items which weigh up to 50 pounds.
Ability to carry items for a distance which ranges from 10 feet to no more than 300 yards.
Ability to lift and/or carry items which are considered awkward to grasp or hold on to.
Ability to lift items (weighing less than 60 pounds) above the head or down from over the
head.
Ability to hold items (weighing 1 to 40 pounds) for a period less than 10 minutes.
Ability to work in undesirable conditions including dust, dirt, fumes, odors, noise,
wetness, humidity, hot and cold.
Ability to occasionally work at heights above 3 feet.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle such as a truck or van in a safe and efficient manner.
Ability to unload a vehicle with items weighing up to 50 lbs
Lounge Attendant
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one 1 year golf/clubhouse/retail related experience in a pro shop or retail
setting with cash handling duties and working with the public/customer service.
General Food and Beverage experience, including cooking, serving, and bartending.

Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida driver s license. Applicants who

within 10 days of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to deal with the public tactfully and courteously.
Knowledge of the techniques, rules, and regulations of golf.
Knowledge of golf equipment as pertains to sales.
Ability to effectively merchandise pro shop inventory.
Effective oral and written communication.
Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public.
Ability to perform a variety of accounting procedures.
Ability to operate a cash register, computer, and telephone, and handle monies
properly.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Operate motor vehicles (i.E., pick-up, van, etc.); load or unload vehicles with objects
weighing no more than 50 lbs. Without assistance.
Learn complex tasks and remember how to complete tasks without assistance once
trained.
Hear and understand conversation in a normal tone of voice. Use of senses, which
include sight, smell, hearing, and touch as aids in the evaluation and troubleshooting of
malfunctioning equipment.
See and read letters, numbers, words, characters or symbols, which are both large and
small, as well as identify colors.
Print and draw letters, numbers, words, characters and symbols -must be legible and
understood by others. Use small hand tools - dexterity required.
Move back and forth and sideways while in a bending, kneeling, or squatting position.
Stay in a bending, kneeling, or squatting position for periods less than 10 minutes.
Go from a standing or sitting position to a bending, kneeling, or squatting position, or
vice versa, periodically.
Walk, stand, and sit for periods longer than 30 minutes. Walk continuously for more
than 5 minutes at a time.
Lift, carry, push or pull items, which weigh up to 50 lbs. Without assistance over uneven
terrain, up/down stairs or ladders.
Carry items for a distance, which ranges from 10 ft. To no more than 300 yds.
Lift and/or carry items, which are considered awkward to grasp or hold on to.
Lift items (weighing less than 40 pounds) above the head or down from over the head.
Hold items (weighing between 1 - 10 pounds) for a period less than 10 minutes.
Work at night in dimly lit conditions as necessary and during inclement weather.
Frequent deadlines under pressure, continuous and close attention for accurate results.
Must remain flexible and give great attention to priorities
