Are you passionate about sports and recreational activities? Do you enjoy creating engaging programs and fostering community connections? Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Recreation Coordinator I for our Sports and Leisure Services team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to plan and implement a variety of recreational and sports programs that enhance the lives of individuals in our community.

Key Responsibilities:


Plan and execute diverse sports and recreational programs for different age groups and skill levels.

Promote programs through outreach and marketing efforts, increasing community participation.

Oversee staff, volunteers, and instructors, ensuring smooth program operation and high-quality experiences.

Maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and prepare reports on program outcomes.

Ensure safety and compliance with regulations, implementing emergency procedures when necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in recreational programming, sports management, or a similar role.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of recreational management software.

CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activities.
